How this site makes money

Nothing on this site is billed to you, at any stage.

A metal building is a contract between you and the contractor who puts it up. Where a request from this site ends in one of those contracts, the contractor pays Compass Camper LLC a referral fee set as a share of the contract price. That arrangement is between the contractor and us. You are not a party to it and you are never billed for it.

The fee is tied to a signed project rather than to a click or a phone call, which is why this site would rather send one request that fits than ten that do not. One request goes to one contractor. We do not sell your information to a list. What is collected when you send one, and how to stop the calls, is on the privacy policy.

We do not rank contractors, we do not publish reviews of them, and we do not screen them for you beyond the requirements in our agreement with them: general liability insurance, a written itemized estimate before work begins, a written contract with a change-order process, and registration of the project with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on any project with an estimated construction cost of $50,000 or more that is not a private residence. The permit, TDLR, aquifer and stormwater pages cost nothing to read and stay that way whether a request ever comes out of them. That lane runs in order on building a metal building in San Antonio. A commercial building is specified over months, and most people reading a permit page today are not ready to talk to anybody. That is fine.
