The business behind the site

Compass Camper LLC (Oregon), doing business as Compass Lead Group, runs Alamo Metal Buildings as a marketing and lead generation service. It is not a licensed contractor and performs no metal building construction work. Any building gets built under a contract you sign with an independent contractor; Compass Camper LLC is no party to that contract.

Permit and cost information

The pages on county and city permits, TDLR registration and accessibility plan review, the Edwards Aquifer protection plan, TCEQ stormwater coverage, septic, utilities and financing are general information, each printed with its primary source and the date it was checked. Agency pages get rewritten, fee schedules change, and a city can run different rules from the county around it. Check any rule with the office in charge of it before money goes out: the city, the county, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, or your lender. None of it is legal, engineering or lending advice.

What sending a request does

A request puts you in touch with a contractor, and nothing more. Nobody is hired, no contractor has to take the job, and no contract for work exists. Anything you later agree with a contractor is between you and that contractor, including price, schedule, workmanship and conduct, and none of it carries a warranty from Compass Camper LLC.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, Compass Camper LLC carries no liability for a loss that arises out of your use of this site, or out of any contract between you and a contractor you met through it. That includes loss tied to the work, to delays, and to a permit decision by a city, county or state agency. Oregon law governs these terms.
